Obituary
Helen Hays Sharpe, 78, of Graham, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019, at her home.
A native of Washington County, Maryland, Mrs. Sharpe was the wife of the late Winstead G. Sharpe and the daughter of the late Fred Hays and the late Mildred Viola Willard Hays.
Mrs. Sharpe was an auditor with the Cone Health System and was a member of the Graham Historic Resources Commission.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Sharpe, of the home; her son, Eric Sharpe, of Christiansburg, Virginia; six sisters and three brothers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 1, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Rich and Thompson Funeral Service in Graham.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 2, at 2:00 PM in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Darryl Peebles.
