Harold Lee Shelley, Sr.

Harold Lee Shelley, Sr, 83, of Graham, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

A native of Johnson City, TN, he was the husband of Nora Lee Shelley and the son of the late Ben Gray Shelley and the late Grace Nelms Shelley. He was the owner and operator of Harold Shelley Displays, a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Throughout his life, he was a member of several musical groups, playing numerous instruments, but primarily playing the fiddle.

In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by his daughter, Abigail S. Carter and her husband Chris of Houston, TX; son, Harold Lee Shelley, Jr. and his wife Reneé of Graham; six grandchildren; and his sister, Nancy Daughtry and her husband Brant of Chesterfield, VA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Howard Shelley; sister, Dolores Ann Thompson; and brother, Bill I. Shelley.

Mr. Shelley will be available for viewing from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham.
