Harold Pickett Curtis, 84, of Graham passed away at his residence on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of 64 years to Nancy S. Curtis, who survives and the son of George Elmo Curtis and Mabel Jane Crabtree Curtis, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. National Guard. Mr. Curtis was a beekeeper and owner of Harold P. Curtis Honey Company. He was also Fire Chief in LaBelle, Florida. Harold was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include a daughter, Rene Curtis Pratt and husband Dwayne of LaBelle, FL; three sons, Harold James Curtis and wife Beverly of LaBelle, FL, Anthony Curtis and wife Debbie of Graham, and Cale Curtis and wife Kim of Graham; brother, Elliott Curtis and wife Elsie of LaBelle, FL; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. by Rev. Keith Porter and Rev. Andy Wood with the family receiving friends from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
