Harold Waylon Bruner

Harold Waylon Bruner, 74, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Carteret Health Care Moorehead City, NC.

Harold was born May 2, 1947 in Sanford, NC to the late Roy Lester and the late Ida May Wood Bruner. He was married to Pamela K. Bruner for fifty-one years.

He worked in textiles all his life, and owned and operated B&B Mechanical Contractors for over 20 years.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and loved being on the water.

Survivors include his wife, Pam; daughter, Robin Hill and son-in-law, Gary Hill, Jr.; son, Harold Stephen Bruner; he was known as Pop-Pop to his grandsons, Tanner, Trent, and Tyler Hill; a brother, Charlie Bruner and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lester Bruner, Winford Bruner, Smith Wayne Bruner, John Henry Bruner, J.B. Bruner and Bobby Bruner; sisters, Sally Eden and Betty Bruner-Love.

Services for Mr. Bruner will be held at a later date, however, Mr. Bruner will be available for family and friends to view, Saturday, January 15, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
