Grace Fall Brown, 92, of Burlington, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018. She was born Aug. 9, 1926 in Sanford, Maine and moved to North Carolina in 1954 with her late husband, Noah G. Brown.
She retired from the Burlington City Schools and then from the Alamance News, at age 86.
Grace enjoyed playing golf, doing ceramics, traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by sons, Bill Brown and wife, Terry of Burlington; John Brown and partner, Frank Reynolds of Watkinsville, GA; step-son Kenneth Brown of Wolfeboro, NH; daughter, Karen Stewart and husband, Rick of Kenly; two grandsons, Brian Stewart and wife, Jeanne of Conway, SC and their sons, Brighton and Owen; Mark Stewart and wife, Brandy of Ayden and their daughters, Sarah, Abby and soon to be Katherine.
Visitation will be held at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Sunday, Sept. 2, 2018 at 1:45 followed by a graveside service at Alamance Memorial Park at 3 p.m. with Rev. J. Love officiating.
