Mrs. Glenda Pickard Simpson

Mrs. Glenda Pickard Simpson, 84, of Burlington, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, at AuthoraCare Hospice Home in Burlington.

A native of Burlington, she was wife of the late Garrett Ray Simpson and daughter of the late Zimmie Hurley Pickard and Josie Nall Pickard. Mrs. Simpson retired as a Staff Manager at AT & T and was a member of Pinecroft Baptist Church in Greensboro.

Surviving are two step-daughters, Angelia Davis Howell and Robin Simpson McAdam; a step-son, Garrett Scott Simpson; and a brother-in-law, Jack T. Rigsbee.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 5, at Alamance Memorial Park with Rev. Don Pegg officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM Thursday prior to the service.
