Gladys Mae Thomey

Gladys Brown Chisholm Thomey, 99, of Burlington passed away at the Homeplace of Burlington on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 12:27 a.m.

A native of Chesterfield County, SC, she was the wife of the late William F. Chisholm and the late William Jack Thomey and the daughter of Charlie A. Brown and Rosa Hearst Brown, both deceased. She retired from Kayser Roth and was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church.

Survivors include a grandson, Mike Chisholm and wife Michelle of Elon; two great-grandchildren, Miller and Madison Chisholm; and a sister, Mary B. Stillson and husband Frank of Wheeling, IL. She was preceded in death by a son, Victor T. Chisholm.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. The entombment will follow at the Mausoleum at Alamance Memorial Park.
