Gary Neil Hunley

Mr. Gary Neil Hunley, 69, of Graham died at his residence on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:20 a.m.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Ann Hunley, who survives and the son of Elmer Eugene Hunley and Allene Jones Hunley, both deceased. Mr. Hunley retired from Becton Dickinson in the shipping, receiving and supply chain departments. He was an avid gardener and hunter. He was a member of Swepsonville Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include a daughter, Tracy Hunley and fiancée Matt Hollars of Graham; sister, Natalie Pierce and husband Jim of Gibsonville; and brother, Kevin Hunley and wife Cindy of Gibsonville.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Mike Jones with the family receiving friends from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane, NC. Other times the family will be at the residence of the daughter, Tracy Hunley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
