Mrs. Frances East Tuttle, 82, of Burlington died at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital on Monday, September 11, 2017 at 5:12 a.m.
A native of Stokes County, she was the wife of the late Gernie Lonzo Tuttle and the daughter of Jesse Reid East and Lillie Mae Lynch East, both deceased. She retired from Wal Mart and was a member of Rock House Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Reba T. Hurlocker (Keith Jordan); granddaughter, Abigail Dayne Hurlocker; special niece, Rhonda Sutton; and special nephew, Jesse East. She was preceded in death by eight siblings, Irene East, Willis East, Roy East, Odell Wilkinson, Maybell Nelson, Elizabeth Warren, Jack East and Josephine East.
A graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. by Minister Brenda Poteat. Other times the family will be at the home of the daughter, Reba Hurlocker.
