Faith Anne Heider

Faith Anne Heider, 39, went to meet Jesus Christ, our Lord, surrounded by family in her home in Graham, North Carolina on August 30, 2018. Faith trusted God in all things and reflected Christ-like love to all. As a child, she was her own person and started early as a person of action in serving others. She exemplified courage, strength, determination and selflessness. Faith raised funds for multiple causes including cancer research, volunteered her time, and demonstrated many acts of kindness to all. Faith’s focus was not on her declining health issues from treatments during adolescence for a brain tumor. Even in the hospital, she visited other patients. Faith knew how to brighten the room with her smile and sense of humor. Boy, did she love all kinds of food, her favorite dessert was peanut butter fudge milkshake!


Faith graduated from Western Guilford High School in 1997 and was awarded the exemplary display of courage from her graduating high school class. The Western Guilford Parent Student Association named a scholarship after Faith for her courage and stewardship. A fierce competitor, Faith played numerous sports, loved to travel, and was an avid music lover. She lived each day to its fullest and never gave up. Faith later attended GTCC after high school.

Faith was born on August 21st, 1979, the daughter of mother, Susan Masho Heider, father, John Victor Heider (Ellen Hall Heider), her surviving siblings include: Danielle Heider, Sara Peck (Matt Peck, 3 children), Chris Gregory (Reba Gregory, 7, children), Elizabeth Cooper (Kevin Cooper, 3, children), her maternal grandfather, Frank K. Masho (Dewie Masho) and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Faith knew she would be joining her maternal grandmother, Donna Jean Masho and her maternal great-grandparents, Henry and Willie Williams, Frank and Martha Masho, two great aunts, Mary (Howard) and Podgie (John), paternal grandparents, Robert and Ann Heider, Forrest and Ruth Hall in heaven.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be given to Feed the Hunger, feedthehunger.org, located in Graham, NC where Faith was recently volunteering, or Peacehaven Community Farm, peacehavenfarm.org located in Whitsett, NC where Faith enjoyed the farm, felting and community.

Visitation will begin at 12:45pm on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 at New Covenant Fellowship Church located at 1913 Rogers Road, Graham, NC 27253 followed by the Faith’s Journey Home service will start at 2:00pm. Arrangements are being handled through Rich and Thompson in Graham, NC.
