Eugene B. "Tink" Loy, Jr

Eugene B. “Tink” Loy, Jr., 91, of Burlington, died Saturday, March 21, 2020 at his home.

A native of Alamance County, Mr. Loy was the husband of June Cobb Loy, who survives, and the son of the late Eugene B. Loy, Sr. and the late Mary Hinshaw Loy.

Mr. Loy was retired Traffic Manager at Gilbarco.

He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church and he was an avid outdoorsman.

In addition to his wife, June, of the home, Mr. Loy is survived by his daughter, Cindy Loy Blalock, of the home; two sons, Joe Loy and his wife, Debbie, of Gibsonville, Randy Loy and his wife, Ann, of Burlington; four grandchildren, Crystal Thompson and her husband, J.W., Paul Loy, Joe Loy, Jr. and his wife, Kim, Ryan Blalock; 4 great-grandchildren, Gavin Loy, Raigan Loy, Lilly Loy, Dominic Loy; a brother, Charles Loy and a sister-in-law, Mary Loy.

Mr. Loy was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tanya Marie Loy, son-in-law Ricky Blalock, a brother, Billy Max Loy and a sister-in-law, Dot Loy.

A private graveside service will be held for the family at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Thurman Horney.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of AuthoraCare Collective and to Paul Lloyd for the care and compassion they have extended to them throughout this difficult time.
