Estelle Lynch Perry-Willard

Estelle Lynch Perry-Willard, of Elon, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019, at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields.

A native of Orange County, she was wife of the late Walter Clark “Corky” Perry, Jr. and the late Daniel S. “Stan” Willard and daughter of the late Zebulon H. Lynch and the late Alma Hodge Lynch. Mrs. Perry-Willard retired from Carolina Biological Supply Company with 25 years of service. She was a member of Elon Community Church where she formerly worked as a Secretary for the Church. She was also a member of the Women’s Fellowship, and a Deacon. She was a member and Past President of the ABWA Beta Chapter and was formerly “Woman of the Year” with the ABWA.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Perry Woody of Burlington, Mrs. Anna Ruth Perry Grant (Mike) of Charlotte and Mrs. Susan Perry Rose (Martin) of Guilford Co.; a son, Stephen Clark Perry of Burlington; a brother Jack Lynch of Elon; and eight grandchildren, Emily K. Fields, Matthew Clark Woody, Michael Clark Grant, Mary Catherine Grant, Brian T. Rose, Amy R. Murray, Rebecca Perry Butler, Stephen Clark Perry, Jr.; thirteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Willard was preceded in death by a grandson, Rob Woody and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Lynch Greene, Mrs. Betty Lynch Bowman and Mrs. Grace Lynch Holt.

Services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 9, at Elon Community Church with Rev. Randy Orwig officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

The family will greet friends from 1:45 – 2:45 PM, prior to the service.
