Elizabeth Faye Mitchell Peele

Elizabeth Faye Mitchell Peele, 93, of Burlington passed away at Coble Creek Healthcare Center at Twin Lakes on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Arthur M. Peele for 57 years and the daughter of Edwin Freeman Mitchell and Deulah Sykes Mitchell, both deceased.

Survivors include a brother, Ray Mitchell of Graham; sister-in-law, Laura Mitchell of Burlington; three nephews; and two nieces.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Mitchell; and four brothers, Dick Mitchell, Jack Mitchell, John Mitchell and Carl Mitchell.

The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. A private service will be held at a later date.
