Edith Kellam Caudill

Edith Kellam Caudill, 78, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at The Hospice Home in Burlington on October 29, 2019. She was born on January 8, 1941 in Burlington to the late Harvey and Essie Mae Johnson Kellam. Edith graduated from EM Holt in 1959 and worked in the food service industry for many years before going to work at Lowes Home Improvement from where she retired several years ago.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Paul Caudill of the home; children Lee Caudill and wife Dana of Graham; Brian Caudill and wife Shonda of Greer, SC; Les Caudill of Burlington; grandchildren Neal Caudill and wife Tina of Asheville, Faith Caudill of Burlington and Zachary Caudill of Burlington; and special dachshund, Dolly.
In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by siblings, Howard Kellam and Mary Kellam Truitt.
A memorial service will be conducted at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 4400 Alamance Church Rd, Liberty, NC on November 3, 2019 at 2:00 with Rev. Keith Edwards officiating. A committal service at Mt. Pleasant will be held immediately following the service.
