Eddie Von Jones

Mrs. Eddie Von Rice Jones, 85, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, December 9, 2018.

Born in Reidsville, NC she was the wife of K. O. “Pete” Jones, who survives and the daughter of Daniel Edward Rice and Vestie Mullis Rice, both deceased. Mrs. Jones was a former bridal consultant with Koury’s Dress Shop. She was active with The Arts Council for many years and a member of the Dogwood Garden Club. She was also a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband of the home, survivors include a daughter, Camilla Wilson and husband Rand of Spartanburg, SC; three sons, Kenneth E. Jones of Burlington, Rodney Brian Jones and wife Yvonne of Graham and Daniel Keith Jones and wife Kimberly of Fredericksburg, VA; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Trey Harris with the family receiving friends following the service. A private burial will be held for the family.
