Dorothy "Dottie" Moore Wilson

Dorothy “Dottie” Moore Wilson of 221 Fieldstone Drive, Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on March 12, 2019.

Dottie was born November 20, 1939 in Williamston, NC to her parents, James David and Kathleen S. Moore. She graduated from Williamston High School and attended East Carolina University where she met her husband, Bill. Dottie worked at Norfolk General Hospital and the Catholic Hospital in Columbia, SC, as well as Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, NC.

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 57 years William H. “Bill” Wilson; son, William H. “Billy” Wilson, Jr.; sister, Sylvia M. Perry and husband Kenneth of Williamston, NC; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 101 East Gate Drive, Elon, NC with the Pastor Steve Braxton, officiating. Visitation will follow the service in the fellowship hall. Burial will take place afterwards at Alamance Memorial Park.
