Dorothy Zimmerman Bradsher, 92, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
A native of Person County, she was the wife of the late Adrian Clyde Bradsher and the daughter of Jesse Zimmerman and Ursula “Sue” Carter Zimmerman, both deceased.
She retired from Burlington Industries as an office worker. She was a member of Lakeview Community Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah B. Lingerfelt; son, Adrian Blaine Bradsher; grandchildren, Michelle Reid, Brad Lingerfelt (Adam Scarboro), and Danielle Ingle (Josh); great-grandchildren, Madison Reid and Sawyer Ingle; sisters, Betty Jean Overby, Delayne Bowes, and Faye Gainey (Donald); and brothers, Owen Zimmerman, Pete Zimmerman, Henry Zimmerman (Sallie), James Zimmerman, and Jerry Zimmerman (Evelyn).
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Danny Dwight Bradsher; daughter-in-law, Belinda Bradsher; son-in-law, Steve Lingerfelt; and brothers, Buddy Zimmerman, Bernice Zimmerman, and Bobby Zimmerman.
The family will receive friends at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Other times they will be at the residence.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. George Silides. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
