Doris Cheek Lutterloh

Mrs. Doris Cheek Lutterloh, 92, of Gibsonville passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 1:30 a.m.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Charles William Lutterloh and the daughter of James Clarence Cheek and Lillie Mae Coble Cheek, both deceased. She retired from the textile industry. Mrs. Lutterloh was a member of Nall Memorial Baptist Church, the Victory Sunday School Class and Forest Hills Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Edgar Lutterloh and wife Dorothy of Gibsonville and James David Lutterloh of Florida; two grandsons; two great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Joe Lutterloh; sister, Wanda C. Tirrell; and a brother, Nathan M. “Nappy” Cheek.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. prior to the graveside service.

A graveside service will be conducted at Pine Hill Cemetery on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Wade Cox.
