Donna Faye Way

Donna Faye Way, 76, passed away on November 29, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina after a sudden illness. An Alamance County native, she was preceded in death by her parents, Warren H. Way and Eloise Layne Way.

She graduated from Walter M. Williams High School and Technical College of Alamance. She retired from the textile industry.

Donna is survived by her sisters, Barbara Way Rachel (Steve) of Graham, Deborah Way Bradshaw (Dylan) of Graham, special niece, Heather Bradshaw Wolford (Ron) of Gibsonville, great nephews, Tanner Blake Wolford and Colt Ayden Wolford and special aunt, Hazel Way Sharpe of Burlington.

She loved vacations at Myrtle Beach with family, dining at Cracker Barrel and visiting with her Cracker Barrel friends, and watching the Carolina Tarheels play basketball and football. She was very involved with her great nephews which brought her the greatest joy and she was always willing to share financial advice with their growing young minds. She will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 5, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Rich and Thompson, 306 Glenwood Ave., Burlington, NC 27215 with Dr. Russell Morris officiating. The family kindly asks facial masks to be worn.
