Any time we saw Don he made us feel very special. He had such a zest for life and enthusiasm I wish all of us could have. He was so much fun to be around . This one is so hard to except because he still had so much more life to live and love to give. It just won't be the same without him. He truly was a very special person who will be sorely missed.. :(

Bobbie, Brooks, Don and family,
So sorry to hear about Don. Joe Michael sent a message to me and it was very difficult to imagine that this had happened so fast. Don will be greatly missed by all of us who enjoyed his joyful and optimistic presence. He was someone who was always upbeat and made everyone feel better about life.
I'm sorry that I am out of town and will look forward to seeing you folks in the near future.
Best wishes in the coming days,
Fondly,
Jim Lauritsen

Don and I were best friends in Jr High School. Life took us in different directions but Don was the guy you wish was with you throughout your life. Bright , positive, confident and uplifting Don was also humorous on occasion. Don touched many lives reflecting a life well lived. So many of us will remember him fondly. Our hearts go out to Barbara and the family. He was truly one of a kind. We feel fortunate to have known him. RIP Don.
