Diane Martin Johnson

Diane Martin Johnson, 74, of Gibsonville, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the Hospice Home in Burlington.

A native of Alamance County, Mrs. Johnson was the wife of Claude “Bud” Johnson and the daughter of the late Parker Martin and the late Betty Boswell Martin.

Mrs. Johnson formerly worked at Western-Electric and Dixie Belle as a Seamstress.

In addition to her husband, Claude “Bud” Johnson of the home, Mrs. Johnson is survived by her daughter, Christy Johnson Miller and her husband, Al, of Gibsonville; her son Scott Johnson and his wife, Sandra, of Burlington; three grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; her sister, Angela Hair, of Graham and numerous members of her extended family.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be the Rev. Ricky Cox.

The family will receive friends at the residence of her daughter, Christy Miller, 415 May St., Gibsonville.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to caregivers; Joyce Fender, Nancy Riggs and Gail Gerner.

As a universal donor, Mrs. Johnson would frequently donate blood to the American Red Cross. In her loving memory and to help someone in need, her final donation was made to Miracles In Sight.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Collective (Hospice) of Alamance County.
