Debra Ann Rhodes

Ms. Debra Ann Rhodes, 64, of Gibsonville, passed away on Saturday, November 10th, 2018. She was born on February 7, 1954 in Lafayette, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of Dusty and Peggy Rhodes, of Gibsonville, who survive.
Debbie graduated from Gaithersburg High School in Maryland in 1972 and lived and worked for many years in Northern Virginia before moving to Gibsonville to be near her family.
A lover of animals, both big and small, her house was often a pet daycare, as she took in and cared for the animals of family and friends, along with caring for her own fur babies. An avid fan of music, she enjoyed seeing many of her favorite groups in concert. She loved spending time in the kitchen, dancing to her favorite albums, cooking meals for her family and friends, and baking sweet treats for many.
Debra is survived by her parents; her two brothers, David R. Rhodes and wife Pam, of Gibsonville, and Larry A. Rhodes, and wife Scarlett, of Elon; her sister, Jennifer L. Rhodes Ford, of Gibsonville; her four nephews, Craig D. Rhodes, Sean M. Ford, Stephen P. Ford, Dalton G. Rhodes; and her niece, London J. Rhodes.
The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the loving care that Debra received at the Hospice Home of Alamance/Caswell, as well as Twin Lakes Health Care Facility.
A private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Alamance County or the ASPCA.
