Deborah Smith Wagoner, 71, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
A native of Rockingham County, she was the wife of the late Donald Lee Wagoner and the daughter of Edgar Lloyd Smith and Lois Collins Smith, both deceased. She operated an embroidery and monogramming business and more recently, she enjoyed working in child nutrition for Alamance Burlington School Systems. In her private life she was a loving mother, a devoted wife, and an amazing Ranny. She was a master at crafting and arts, an avid bowler, and she spent her free time dancing with the love of her life, our Papa Da. We know he is holding her tight in his arms.
Survivors include her sons, Daren Smith Wagoner and wife Jenny of Burlington and Derek Lee Wagoner and wife Julie of Salisbury; two grandchildren, Alexis Wagoner and Gage Wagoner; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Smith.
