David Carroll, 65, of Graham, died on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at his residence.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Debbie Carroll, who survives, and the son of Claude Carroll and Betty Brincefield Carroll, both deceased. He was employed with Wal-Mart and formerly with McClure Funeral Home in Graham. Mr. Carroll attended Lamb’s Chapel and was a volunteer fireman with the E.M. Holt Fire Department. He loved his family and loved spending time with them.
In addition to his wife of 45 years, he is survived by his son, Chris Carroll of Graham; two sisters, Linda Casparian of Graham and Diane Brooks and husband Neal of Graham; his brother, Timmy Carroll of Massachusetts; close friend, D.J. Yakey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Claude “Skip” Carroll.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham with Rev. James L. Rosser officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 6, from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
