Daryll Lemonte “Flop” Moser, 78, of Burlington passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023.
Born in Guilford County on December 12, 1944. Son of John William Moser and Rata Woodard
Moser, both deceased. He was a master carpenter and woodworker for 50-60 years for newly
built homes and renovations. Daryll was a hard-working man and always strived for perfection.
He loved camping, fishing, and hunting. He was a former member of the McLeansville Wildlife
Club, the Moose Lodge, and a lifelong member of Brick Reformed Church. Daryll was a family
man. He had a special bond with his Granddaughter which included baking, fishing, and
tinkering on equipment.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janice Brooks Moser. In addition to his wife of their
home, survivors include a daughter, Julie Moser Shepherd and Tommy Vincent; Two sons, Scott
Hughes and Trish and Willie Woodard and Angela; Granddaughter Kensly Shepherd; Grandson,
Cody Robinson and Lauren; Many loving nieces and nephews, and many extended family and
friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Moser (Ethel), and Maurice Moser and
two sisters, Rosa Lee Sawyer (Spencer), and Wanda Faye Grooms (Eric).
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at
Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington.
The funeral service will be conducted at Brick Reformed Church on Thursday, September 21,
2023 at 2:00 p.m.
