Daphne R. McPherson

Mrs. Daphne R. McPherson, 95, of Snow Camp passed away at the Coventry House of Siler City on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 7:35 p.m.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Paul C. Griffin and the late James R. McPherson and the daughter of Charlie C. Richardson and Addie Belle Lewis Richardson, both deceased. Mrs. McPherson was a retired clerk for a medical clinic in Chapel Hill and a member of Center United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Robert C. Griffin (Carol), Charles C. Griffin (Jennie), Gary R. Griffin (Diane) and Phillip L. Griffin; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a twin sister, Doris Thompson.

The funeral service will be conducted at Center United Methodist Church on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Garrett Rae and Rev. Jerry Bryan. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the committal service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Center United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 9204 Center Church Road, Snow Camp, NC 27349.
