Dan Henry Lee Jackson

Dan Henry Lee Jackson, age 91, of Burlington went to be with Jesus May 5, 2022.

He was born in Caswell County to the late Fletcher Ivey Jackson and Addie Mae Terrell Jackson, and was married to Mary Dot Dalrymple Jackson for 71 years. He was a carpenter and a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church and served as Deacon and Usher. He enjoyed fishing at the Outer Banks, yard sales, and taking bus trips. Dan loved spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Dot Dalrymple Jackson; son, Tim Jackson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Myrtle Webster, Nellie Younts Patterson, and Nannie Mae Johnson; brothers, John Andrew Jackson, Albert S. Jackson, Fletch B. Jackson, and Aubrey Thomas Jackson.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington, Monday, May 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Clarence Toney and Rev. Larry Redding with the family receiving friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
