Connie Davis Adams

Connie Davis Adams, 72, of Burlington passed away at her son’s residence on Monday, September 6, 2021.

A native of Cumberland County, she was the wife of the late Robert William Adams, Sr. and the daughter of Ralph Sion Davis and Doris Owen Davis, both deceased. She and her husband owned and operated Adam’s Sign Service and Repair along with their sons. Connie was a member of the Lamb’s Chapel Church.

Survivors include three sons, Robert William Adams, Jr. and wife Connie, David Dixon Adams and wife Ashley, and John Thomas Adams and wife Karis; grandchildren; Dustin Adams, Holly Treadwell and husband Andrew, Tori Adams, Brittany Fitch and husband Zach, Kenzie Adams, Morgan Parker, Cheyenne Parker, William Adams and Andrew Adams; great-granddaughter, Paisley Treadwell; and sister, Wendy Allred and husband Lewis. She was preceded in death by her brother Stoney Davis

A Memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. by Rev. Fred Treadwell. Visitation will be at Rich & Thompson Funeral Service in Burlington on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The family ask that those attending the visitation please wear a mask.
