Clarence "C.F." Ballard

Mr. Clarence “C.F.” Ballard, 82, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 1:10 p.m.

A native of Chesterfield, SC, he was the husband of Joyce T. Ballard, who survives and the son of Frank and Montie Ballard, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corp serving for four years. Mr. Ballard was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and attended Clemson University. He retired from the University of North Carolina as a supervisor in the heating and air department. He was a member of the Masons.

In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include three sons, Chris Ballard, Bryan Ballard and Randall Honeycutt; daughter, Lisa Young; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Benenhaley; and brother, Tommy Ballard. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Sheppard and Deborah Ballard.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
