Charles C. Burgess, 90, of Gibsonville passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Cabarrus County, he was the son of the late Jonah Carol Burgess and the late Mozell Wyrick Burgess. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and former security guard at Cone Mill.
He is survived by one daughter, Gloria B. Reichert of Snow Camp; two granddaughters, Angela Christian and Mikki Kendrick and her husband Tim; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
His graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Gibsonville City Cemetery.
