Carla Jean Hampton

Carla Jean Hampton, 53, of Burlington passed away at her residence on Monday, December 12, 2022.

A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of Judith “Judy” Allen of Burlington and Carl Hampton and his wife Virginia of Angier, NC. Other survivors include her sister, Andrea Lynn Hampton Lowery and brother, John Allen Hampton, both of Burlington.

Carla was a 1991 graduate of Guilford College and a graduate of Bowman Gray Physician’s Assistant Program. She was a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and an employee of the Alamance County Health Department almost 30 years. Her favorite pastimes were reading, shopping, crocheting, and cross-stitching gifts for family, friends, and co-workers.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 21,2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington.
