Brenda Gregory Hughes

Brenda Gregory Hughes, 75, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 12:03 AM.

A native of Guilford County she was the daughter of Eugene Delmo Gregory and Ida Mildred Carter Gregory, both deceased. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Hospice and formerly worked at Western Electric. Brenda was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid UNC Tar Heels fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherine “Kathy” Hughes Hall and husband Jim of Elon; two grandsons, Justin Ryan Smith and Quentin Thomas Hall; a step granddaughter, Ashley Hall Veiga and husband Jack; her sister, Camellia Gregory Dixon; and a nephew, Greg Dixon.

The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Burlington on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 5:30 until 7:00 PM. At other times they will be at the residence.
