Mr Bobby E Helm

Mr. Bobby E. Helm, 81, of Graham, passed away at his residence on Monday, September 14, 2020 following a lengthy illness.

A native of Alamance County, he was husband of the late Jane Patton Helm and son of the late Alvis E. Helm and Mae Longest Helm. Mr. Helm was a veteran of the US Army and a retired Detective Sergeant with the Graham Police and a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham.

Surviving are two sons, M. Keith Helm and wife Debbie of Snow Camp, and Patrick E. Helm and wife Tonya of Greensboro; a brother, Kenneth Helm of Graham; a sister, Dot Isley, of Graham; three grandchildren, Jessica Freudenvoll, Brittany Helm and Hayleigh Helm; and two great grandsons, James & Jacob Freudenvoll. Mr. Helm was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Collins, Elizabeth Webster and Marie Loy.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, September 18, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham with Rev. Chris Howe officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park.

The family will greet friends from 12:45 – 1:45 prior to the service, and other times at the residence.
