Betty Caswell Davis

     Betty Caswell Davis, 89, of Burlington,  passed away on Sunday 3/14/2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. 

    A native of Ontario, Canada, Betty was the wife of the late Charles R. Davis, from the Summerfield, NC area and the daughter of Orville L. Caswell and Florence M. Kniffen Caswell, both deceased.  After raising her family, she worked as an Activities Director at the Friendship Center.  She was a member of Macedonia Lutheran Church.

   Betty is survived by her daughters, Sharon Davis Walker and her husband John, of Burlington; Elizabeth Davis, of Jacksonville, FL;  a son, Paul F. Davis, of Gibsonville;  grandchildren, Dr. Anna Walker Parlin  (Dr. Andrew Parlin) ,  Charles B. Walker (Courtney Walker), Jessica R. Walker (Brian Presher), Jeff C. Walker (Patty Denault), a great granddaughter, Sienna Walker and a sister in law, Ruth Ann Caswell, along with numerous nieces and nephews on both sides of the family. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Missy.

    A service to celebrate her life will be held outdoors at Macedonia Lutheran Church, on Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.   Burial will be held at Summerfield United Methodist Church Cemetery in Summerfield, NC following the service at Macedonia Lutheran Church.

    In lieu of flowers,  the family asks that any memorial contributions be made to the Memorial Fund of Macedonia Lutheran Church, 421 W. Front Street, Burlington, NC  27215 or to Alamance County Meals on Wheels, 411 S. Fifth Street,  #A, Burlington, NC  27215.
