Mrs Bettie Jo Dunn

Mrs. Bettie Jo Dunn, 64, of Mebane, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Grady Dunn, who survives, and daughter of the late Howard C. Leach and Jackie Thompson Leach. Mrs. Dunn was a typesetter at UNC and a member of Lamb’s Chapel.

Surviving, other than her husband of the home, are a daughter, Ashley Dunn of Mebane; two sons, Bobby Shanklin of Burlington and Andy Shanklin of Mebane; three grandchildren, Montgomery Shanklin, Massey Shanklin and Poppie Shanklin; a sister, Sissy Williams of CA; and a brother, Buster Leach of Mebane. Mrs. Dunn was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday evening at Rich & Thompson Funeral Service in Graham.
