Mrs Jean Crowder Whitfield

Mrs. Jean Crowder Whitfield, 73, of Graham passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 8:36 a.m.

A native of Wythe County, VA, she was the daughter of James Matthew Crowder and Emmer Graham Crowder, both deceased.

Survivors include a daughter, Jodi Morris and husband Rick of Graham; three sons, Cecil Whitfield and wife Angela of Graham, Resal Whitfield and wife Julie of Kernersville and Mike Porter and wife Teresa of Fayetteville, GA; nine grandchildren; and four sisters, Willie Crowder, Jane Williamson, Ann Whitfield and Helen Thomas.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Hawfields Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Other times the family will be at the residence of Jodi and Rick Morris.
