Barbara Willoughby Wynn

Barbara Willoughby Wynn, 77, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, October 11, 2021.

A native of Marlboro County, SC, she was the daughter of Johnny Ray Willoughby and Lillie Mae Grooms Willoughby, both deceased. She retired from the textile industry and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include four daughters, Virginia Ann Hogan and husband Robert, Brenda Lou Galbraith and husband Art, Teresa Denise Lopez, and Patricia Lena Huffines; two sons, Ronald Jeffrey Wynn and Michael Edward Wynn and wife Kimberly; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Betty Sue Miller and husband Jim; and two brothers, James Earl Willoughby and Johnny Ray Willoughby Jr.  She was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Joyce Willoughby and Diane Marie Willoughby and two brothers, James Curtis Willoughby and Paul E. Willoughby.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Daniel Webster with the family receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  Other times, the family will be at the residence.
