Barbara Wilson Faucette, 88, of Burlington passed away at White Oak Manor on Thursday, March 16, 2023.
A native of Burlington, she was the wife of the late Billy Lee Faucette and the daughter of William Edgar Wilson and Nina Elmira Goldston Wilson, both deceased. She was a former office assistant. Barbara was a member of Union Ridge Church where she served as Church Deacon and was a member of the Fellowship Class, the Richard Jackson Circle, and Shut-in Ministry. The church honored her with Mother of the Year 2005.
Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Combs and husband Mickey of Burlington and their daughter, Deborah Combs and son, Brian Combs and wife Melissa and their son Cameron; her son, Larry Faucette and wife Laurie of Charlotte and their daughters, Nicole Habit and husband Matt and their children Lincoln and Norah and daughter Katelyn Hall and husband David and their children, Savannah and Everleigh; her son, John Faucette and wife Donna of Burlington and their sons, Josh Faucette and wife Rachel and their children, Sebastian and Theodore, and son, Tyler Faucette; and her son David Faucette and wife Renee of Fountain Inn, SC and their children, Jack Gutkin ,Madison Kupec and Ryan McCall. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Allison.
The funeral service will be conducted at Union Ridge Church on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. by Pastor Dan Ficklin. Burial will follow at Union Ridge Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the committal service in the fellowship hall.
