Annette Vaughn Furr

Annette Vaughn Furr, 94, of The Village at Brookwood in Burlington, NC passed away peacefully on February 21, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health.  She was born in Winston-Salem, NC on December 21, 1926, daughter of the late Numa Madison Vaughn and Pearl Sink Vaughn.  She was predeceased by three sisters, Isabel Turner, Marion (Pete) Owen, Margaret (Toby) Bovender, and brother Sam Vaughn.

She is survived by her husband, James F. Furr of Burlington.  A son, James F. Furr, Jr. and wife Susan of Rockledge, Florida and a daughter, Rosalind (Lynn) Wilson and husband Mike of Burlington.  Also surviving two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brevard, where she served as secretary for 31 years.  She enjoyed countless annual RV trips across the US, bird watching and volunteering.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
