Anna Kathleen Brooks, 23, of Burlington passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Tim and Debbie Brooks, who survive. She worked at Buffalo Wild Wings and Acorn Inn. Anna grew up attending Beacon Baptist Church and loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed taking walks at Cedar Rock Park and spending time with her animal friends, especially her pet cockatiel, Buddy. Anna was very compassionate and loving to every living thing.
In addition to her parents of the home, survivors include her siblings, Scarlett Sykes and husband Travis and their children, Kaitlyn, Levi and Lily of Leasburg, Valerie Caviness and husband Chris and their daughter, Christina of Burlington, Kim Moore and husband Ray and their son Chase of Graham, Troy Brooks of Clayton and Emily Brooks and friend Mark of Denver, CO; maternal grandparents, Howard and Frances Barrett; close friends, Preston and Delaney; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Sadie Brooks.
The funeral service will be conducted at Beacon Baptist Church on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Karns officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bellemont United Methodist Church Cemetery. At other times the family will be at her parent’s residence.
