Obituary

Rebecca “Becky” Holtzclaw, 92, passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on September 3, 2019.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Albert Madison Holtzclaw and daughter of the late Fred Lee Clark and Ollie Phillips Clark. She was a member of Swepsonville Baptist Church where she was a member of the Women of Faith Sunday School Class and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

Becky is survived by daughter, Linda Brinkley; grandchildren, Ryan Brinkley (Lauren), Willie Holtzclaw and Kelly Brinkley (Cory); and great-grandchildren, Parker and Vada.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Holtzclaw, two sisters and one brother.

Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Swepsonville Baptist Church with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the funeral service. The committal service will be held immediately following the funeral service in the Phillips Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
