Louie was the greatest, caring and loving man . I knew Louie by living across from my Aunt Helen Waller and thru the shag club I use to have long talks with him over the years. The last few times I seen him it was about moving and how tried he was. My deepest sympathy goes out to family and know that he gave so much joy to others remember his laughter, his smiles, that he is in shag heaven.

It is with great sympathy to loose such a wonderful gentleman. Louie’s family will be in our thoughts. We met doing ritual with the Moose. He, Earl and a host of other friends always gathered to gether and talked Moose Ritual. He was adored by all whom he came in contact with. Such a kind and gentle man. I never knew him to have an unkind word for anyone. That was his nature to always find good in everyone. Memories will forever be in our hearts and just to know he doesn’t have to suffer is a blessing. Rest In Peace dear friend. Wendell & Susan

Sid and I send our sincere sympathy to Louie's family and extended shag family. Growing up in Burlington, the Maddens were very special folks. I know he is reunited with his siblings and there is some serious fast dancing going on! We will all treasure his memory.

Louie was a great gentleman and a great American of the "Greatest Generation." 'A wonderful friend , proponent, and supporter of the Shag dance, it's music, history and lifestyle. We are all blessed to have had the pleasure and fortune of knowing him.
