Wayne L. Bowman

Wayne L. Bowman, 64, of Burlington died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 4:25 AM.

A native of Carroll County, Maryland he was the husband of Norma Bowman, who survives, and the son of the late Merle L. Bowman and Jean Bowman, who survives. Mr. Bowman was the owner and operator of My Handyman. He was an avid outdoorsman, bird watcher and history buff.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Lauren Bowman of Snow Camp; Cindy Barnett and husband Michael of Westminster, MD; numerous nieces and nephews; friend and coworker, Phillip Sneed of Burlington; beloved dog, Roxy; and many friends and extended family.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Ruth Brenneman.

A memorial service will be held at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Rich & Thompson in Graham. At other times they will be at the residence.
