Robert Louis Reeves, 88, of Burlington died at Edgewood Place in Burlington on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 4:30 AM.
A native of Picher, Oklahoma he was the husband of the late Susan Marlene Oakley Reeves and the son of Henry Reeves and Lucille Reeves, both deceased. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean War. Robert worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles as an inspector.
He is survived by his son, Christopher Reeves, Sr of Burlington; three grandsons, Robert Cody Reeves, Wake Monroe Reeves, and Caleb Offshore Reeves; a brother, Timothy Reeves of Arkansas; a sister, Nancy Reeves of Missouri; a sister in law, Patricia Scollin and husband John.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
