Rebecca Fenton Albright

Mrs. Rebecca Fenton Albright, 87, of Mebane passed away at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Daniel G. “Dan” Albright and the daughter of John J. Fenton and Grace Goodman Hawkins Fenton, both deceased. Mrs. Albright was a retired R.N. with the Alamance County Hospital. She was a member of Hawfields Presbyterian Church and a former organist at Swepsonville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Albright is survived by two daughters, Annette A. Brown and her husband, Jerry of Raleigh, and Sue A. Johnson and her husband, Ronald of Haw River; five grandchildren, Bret Young, Tina Readling and her husband, Josh, Tiffany Perry, Dustin Albright and his wife, Amy, and Hilary Albright; great granddaughter, Victoria Perry; and three sisters, Mary Jane Collins and her husband, Jimmy of Connelly Springs, NC, Nell Wilson of Burlington, and Ann Hamby and her husband, James of Mebane.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Albright and a son, D. G. Albright.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. J. David Ealy, Pastor Stu Johnston and Rev. E. Paul West.  Burial will follow at the Hawfields Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
