Paul L Snotherly

Mr. Paul L. Snotherly, 93, of Burlington passed away at the Hospice Home on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 10:30 p.m.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of 69 years to Dorothy “Dot” Ball Snotherly, who survives and the son of John Garland Snotherly and Grace Boggs Snotherly, both deceased.

Mr. Snotherly was a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during World War II in the South Pacific. He was formerly employed with Barringer Distributing as warehouse manager. He loved to work in the yard and was an avid UNC Tar Heels fan. Paul was a longtime member of Front Street United Methodist Church and the Builders’ Sunday School Class. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include a son, Russell Alan Snotherly and wife Vickie; granddaughter, Kathryn Snotherly Roney; grandson, Brandon Alan Snotherly; great-grandson, Easton Roney; and brother, Jack Snotherly and wife Helen. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Snotherly and sister, Jean Snotherly Rodgers.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Ross Carter with the family receiving friends from 9:45 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Other times they will be at the residence.
