Mary Willis (Brown) Robertson

Mrs. Mary Brown Robertson, 89, of Snow Camp passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 2:40 p.m. at her daughter’s home.

A native of Guilford County, she was the wife of 62 years to the late William Mack Robertson and the daughter of Thomas Brown and Hazelle Amick Brown, both deceased.  Mary was a graduate of Nathaniel Greene High School and a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, William “Billy Mac” Robertson of Snow Camp; a daughter, Sandra Robertson Isley and her husband, Larrie of Snow Camp; two wonderful granddaughters, Jana Robertson Wells and her husband, Justin of Roxboro and Sandie Robertson of Graham; four precious great-granddaughters, Shayln Robertson, Mary Kathleen Wells, Aselin Wells and Daphne Wells; and a brother, H. Marvin Brown.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard Brown and Richard Brown.

A celebration of her life will be held at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Amanda Dixson and Rev. Andy Wood.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Sunday, July 16, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Other times they will be at the residence of her daughter on Friendship Patterson-Mill Rd., Snow Camp, NC.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215. Or to Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, 4178 Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Rd., Graham, NC 27253.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice, especially her nurse, Teressa, for all the loving care and support during this difficult time.
