Mrs Kayla Rae Chambers

April 13, 1993 ~ February 9, 2018 (age 24) 24 Years Old

Kayla Rae Chambers was granted her angel wings on Friday, February 9th while surrounded by her family and dear friends.

Kayla’s life may seem too short to most, but she touched more lives in her 24 years than many accomplish in a lifetime on earth. She met life’s challenges head-on with a fierceness and determination admired by all that knew her.

A native of Alamance County and graduate of River Mill Academy, Kayla was the beloved bride of Ryan Chambers. She was the proud mother of her two fur babies, Sampson and Cota. Kayla had a passion for life and loved to travel with her husband.

Kayla is survived by her husband, Ryan Chambers, of the home; her parents, Tony and Christine Johnson of Graham; sisters Angel Squires and husband Kevin, Tiffany Johnson, Heather Ingerick and husband Andrew, all of Graham; 3 nieces and 3 nephews who were the light of her life, Alexa Squires, Gavin Squires, Tanner Ingerick, Corbin Squires, Presley Johnson and Tinley Chambers. Grandparents Doug and Rickie Johnson and Nancy and James Turner of Graham; an aunt, Karen Kimble; 4 uncles, Kenny Kimble and wife Tina, Jeff Johnson and wife Traci, Rodney and wife Lisa, Dale Johnson and wife Michelle. Cousins, Ron Sims and wife Marcia, Dustin Pummill, Whitney Keller and husband Phillip, Kasey Johnson, Jesse Johnson and Haley Johnson. In addition, Kayla is survived by her “in-loves” Ronnie and Carla Chambers and Tyler and Allie Chambers.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Gabe and Joy Kimble; her brother, John Martin(Bubby), a nephew, Aiden Riley Morris, and a niece, Ava Raye Johnson.

The family will receive friends Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in McLeansville, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, February 12, at the church. Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Burlington Fire Department, Alamance County EMS, ARMC, DaVita and Moses Cone for the loving care given to Kayla. We would like to offer our sincerest thanks and gratitude to Dr. Munsoor Lateef for being more than just her physician for the last 7 years, thank you for taking care of our girl.

Memorials may be made to the Kayla Chambers Memorial Foundation, PO Box 781, Englewood, FL 34295.
