Kathleen Allred Brown

Mrs. Kathleen Allred Brown, 92, of Burlington went home to be with the Lord, after a year of declining health, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 2:45 a.m.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Robert Dale Brown and the daughter of Lewis H. Allred and Cora Phillips Allred, both deceased.  Kathleen was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Baptist Church and her beloved Samaritans Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Kathy Brown Lynch and husband, Danny of Burlington; two sons, Larry D. Brown and wife, Evelyn of Elon and Terry L. Brown and wife, Renee of Burlington; six grandchildren, Landon Brown and wife, Melanie, Heath Brown, Lance Brown, Travis Brown, Taylor Lynch and wife, Jennifer and Holt Lynch; eight great grandchildren, Conner Brown, Madeline Brown, Dirk Brown, Garrett Brown, Nicholas Lynch, Kayla Collins, Maddie Collins  and Austin Lynch; brother, Kenneth Allred and  wife, Sandra; two sisters-in-law, Christa Allred and Ethel Allred; and many nieces, nephews and special friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, LaRue Hodges; and five brothers, Norman Allred, Glenn Allred, Hal Allred, Luke Allred and Ray Allred.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Harvest Baptist Church on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. by Pastor Larry Lamberth, Pastor Dave Winstead and Evangelist Bucky Brown.  Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Other times they will be at the residence of her son, Terry Brown, 2509 Bellemont-Alamance Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance- Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC  27215.
