Joan Loy Powell & Larry Michael Powell

Joan Loy Powell 76, passed away on June 8, 2015. Larry Michael Powell 73, passed away on August 31, 2011. They shared 39 years of marriage together.

Joan was the daughter of Casper Moore Loy and Ruth B. Loy Davis both deceased. She was born in Pinehurst, NC.

Larry was the son of Ervin Powell and Elppa Michael both deceased. He was born in Guilford, NC.

Survivors include two sons Michael Powell and Joe Butler of Mt.
Holly; daughter Barbara Murphy and her husband Kenneth of Michigan. Grandparents of three grandchildren, Stephanie her husband George, Joshua and Mackenzie. Three great grandchildren, Zachary, Benjamin and Gabrielle. Sister Jean Wade of Greensboro and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside burial at Pine Hill Cemetery, August 18th, 2017 at 3:00 p.m.
